Constructed of silver, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central mobile swastika set within double rings, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, each quadrant joined by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with LDO code L 13 for Paul Meybauer, Berlin, measuring
