Image size: 10. 5" x 17" Byron Birdsall was one of Alaskas most renowned artists. His paintings feature brilliant landscapes, as well as uniquely Alaskan images such as puffins, eagles, and fishing boats. Birdsall had remarkable range, moving easily between portraits and landscapes, watercolor and oils. His paintings were often inspired by his international travels.
