The 76100 was produced exclusively with a date function and served as a bridge between the 9411 0 and the 79090 Submariner Dates. Whats particularly interesting is that it appears to have been made alongside the 9411 0. Visually, it closely resembles the later 79090 (featuring the triangle marker matte dial), but it stands out with a unique Lollipop
